Mr. Kavanaugh joined IBM in 1996 and held a series of finance positions with increasing responsibility over the last three decades. As CFO, he is responsible for leading IBM’s worldwide financial operations, overseeing accounting and controllership, financial planning and analysis, tax, internal audit, investor relations, corporate development and treasury.
Through his experience as CFO at IBM (and previously as SVP of Transformation & Operations, where he led IBM’s transformation to a data-driven cognitive enterprise), Mr. Kavanaugh will share what strategic CFOs — and their finance teams — can do to drive value through the organization.
Ann Dennison serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Nasdaq. With more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, financial reporting and analysis, Ann leads a global team responsible for Corporate Finance (Controllers, Tax, Advisory Office), Treasury, Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, ESG Reporting, Procurement and Real Estate, Facilities and Security.
Ann joined Nasdaq in 2015 as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer and was responsible for all areas of the company’s accounting, financial reporting, analysis, and disclosure, as well as budgeting and planning, tax, procurement and global accounting operations.
Prior to joining Nasdaq, Ann was a Managing Director and Head of Financial Reporting at Goldman Sachs. Ann holds a BBA/MBA, Accounting and Finance from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.
Chris Greiner joined Zeta as Chief Financial Officer in early 2020 and took the company public on the NYSE in June 2021. In his role, Chris is responsible for the Company’s financial strategy, and oversees all financial and sales operations functions at the company. Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector, with the last decade focused on AI, analytics, and SaaS software.
Over the course of his career, Chris has held a variety of C-suite roles in product development, operations, sales, customer success, and human resources. He has extensive M&A experience, deep expertise in leveraging platform technologies and big data to fuel high-margin growth and a track record of success in the international markets. He also has experience directing global operations, IPO processes, and strategic transformations in a wide range of industry verticals.
Prior to joining Zeta, Chris held the position of chief financial officer at LivePerson (NASDAQ: LPSN) and Inovalon (NASDAQ: INOV) along with multiple divisional and global CFO roles spanning more than 12 years at IBM.
Chris holds degrees in finance and economics from Baylor University.
Niki Heim joined LogicSource in July 2014 and holds the role of Chief Financial Officer, where she is responsible for the accounting operations of the company. Prior to joining LogicSource, Niki was the Controller at Title Nine Sports, a women’s activewear company. She began her career by gaining four years of experience in public accounting where she worked on various industries including small business, government entities, and financial institutions. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst in the Risk Management team at a financial institution, Niki was responsible for leading the Sarbanes-Oxley audit, performing risk assessments, and she provided consultation on risk mitigation strategies and controls. Niki received a BS in Accounting from Siena College.
Dan is the President of Thayer Leadership and a 1988 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. In 2010, Dan co-founded Thayer Leadership along with four other West Point graduates with the mission of bringing the world to West Point and bringing West Point leadership to the world. Over the past 10 years, Thayer has grown steadily, becoming one of the Top 40 leader development companies in the world. As a lifelong learner, he has earned 3 Masters degrees and recently completed his Doctoral classes.
He is a graduate of Airborne, Ranger, and Jungle Schools; and served two 1-year tours in the Middle East. After completing his Army commitment, Dan entered the private sector where he served as Chief Marketing Officer for a $500 million medical device manufacturer; Managing Director of a $10 billion investment firm; Co-Founder of a private equity firm in Iraq, and Co-Founder of a solar hybrid company in Afghanistan.
In 2004, Dan voluntarily joined the New York National Guard as an Infantry Captain to deploy to Iraq, where he served for 1-year as a Civil Affairs Officer at Forward Operating Base Danger in Tikrit. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, and Combat Action Badge.
In 2022, Dan was named Special Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Dan has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Small Wars Journal, and Chief Executive magazine. In 2013, he published and co-authored his first book, West Point Leadership: Profiles of Courage, which features 200 of West Point graduates who have helped shape our nation. The book received 3 literary awards from the Independent Book Publishers Association plus an award from the Military Society Writers of America (MSWA). Jim is a strategic planner and progressive business transformation strategist with more than 20 years of combined experience impacting the visibility and performance of companies through orchestration of resources, operations, process improvement, policies, and protocols. Prior to joining BDO, he was a principal in the Business Advisory practice of AC Lordi where he helped finance organizations navigate process and technology changes, and increase their overall value proposition to their business partners. He also served as a senior director for a $33 billion global health insurance firm where he directed multi-location project staff in execution of a $100+ million financial process and systems project, and as global project controller for a $3 billion professional services firm.
